We’ll Bring the World His Truth Directional Marching

For this super low-prep and easy activity you’ll start by introducing the song by singing it through once or twice before you introduce your activity.
While singing along, look for a Primary child that is participating and paying attention to call on to be your helper! Then, you can pull out your Directional Marching arrow and let the kids have some fun getting their wiggles out – with a purpose!
The words of We’ll Bring the World His Truth just lend so perfectly to getting up and marching in place like we’re ready to go out into the world and share the gospel message right that very moment.
To make it fun and exciting for the kids, I created a cute printable arrow. I slipped it into a sheet protector and then demonstrated what the directions mean.
Right and left are easy – turn to face that side of the room.
Up (pointing to the ceiling) means to face the front of the room.
Down (pointing to the floor) means to turn around and march facing the back of the room.
After a few times through, you could have them march with high knees, and little marching steps to mix up the game!
I demonstrated how to use the arrow by starting to march holding the arrow facing up. Then, as I switch the arrows directions, I changed my marching direction to coordinate. The kids picked up immediately on what to do, once I clarified which way up and down would mean.
Then, I called up a helper friend and let them lead us in our march as we sang through the song. We went through the song about 4-5 more times before switching activities. Each time I would call up a new helper that had been participating.
