You’re going to LOVE these adorable General Conference Puppets & notes sheets. They’ll give a fun and on-theme activity for kids to do while listening to conference that won’t be distracting from focusing on the words from the apostles.

General Conference Puppets & Note Sheet
Setup & How to Use:
Pick the 1-page or 2-page podium and matching speakers. Print them out on cardstock.
Cut a slot into the podium to be able to slot in your paper puppets! You can wrap a piece of tape through the slit and fold it over to reinforce the slit, if needed.
Cut out each of the speaker puppets and tape or glue them to a popsicle stick or tongue depressor. If you don’t have something to work on hand, you can cut out the speakers and just place them on top of the podium or laminate and use tape or poster putty to switch speakers.
*Note: The puppets are not intended to match any specific person. Instead, they are made with a general design so you can continue to use this packet with leadership changes and other speakers come to the podium!
Pick one of the 8 speakers to use at the podium with each new speaker. Then, move and animate the speaker!
Use in Primary or Singing Time:
- Pick a General Conference Speaker to add to the podium. Then, share a quote or short message of what was discussed in one of the talks.
- Write a way to sing on the back of the speakers. Then, when one is selected use that singing style to review your choice of song!
- Sing an assortment of songs about prophets and hold up one of the speakers as you prepare for Conference.
Extension Activities:
- Choose the coloring page podium and puppets! You can color them in before using them as puppets for more fun!
- Print out the coordinating General Conference note sheets! Take notes on the pages and add the matching puppet to the podium.
- Roleplay your own General Conference with these puppets! What messages would you want to share with others?
- Add the optional notes & quotes boxes to write the talk topic or a quote or simply act out the talk with different expressions!
