Q: How do I login with Grow.me?
I use a really cool tool that will automatically unlock all of my PDF files right in the post! It also gives you the ability to bookmark your favorite posts and adds a really smart search function.
To get started, you’ll need to create an account (or sign-in) to unlock the content.
You only have to sign in once and ALL of our downloads are instantly unlocked! It’s a fabulous solution that works great.
How to sign-up or sign-in: To create an account with Grow.me, simply click the 3 Dots icon in the bottom corner or click on any of the “Exclusive Content” Login Here banners at the bottom of the post.
If you are signing up for the first time, the sign-up button is down below the menu that opens.
The login window opens in a new window and you can create an account or sign-in with your email address or with a connected account using your Facebook or Google login. It will look like this.
After creating your account, you’ll head to you email to confirm your account and then refresh the blog post and you’ll be logged in!
You can also login in the individual posts by clicking on any of the locked content and it will pop open the same login prompt to access our free printables!
Q: How do I access the download files?
Each post that mentions or shows a printable lesson plan includes a free printable within the post. Almost all of our singing time idea posts include a free printable!
To access all of our free printable lesson plans, we simply ask that you create a login (see the steps above) which also subscribes you to our newsletter. We are use the Grow.me tool to instantly unlock ALL of our downloads when you subscribe. As long as you’re logged in, you’ll see the files automatically!
The download files look like this at the bottom of the post. You can use the PDF preview window to download or print the PDF file. Simply click on any of the buttons, as show in this screenshot.
Keep in mind that the download button will start the download immediately and the link button will open the file in the same window. If you are accessing this website from your phone, you may need to check our download folder to find the files.
The print button will pop open your print prompts to connect with your local printer and print the pages you select.
Q: I’m getting asked for my credit card information! Help!
I do not charge for any of my singing time lesson plans. We do have a small store that is very clearly an online cart. Those files are also available for checkout with Etsy if that platform is more comfortable. You should not be entering credit card information ANYWHERE else on my website besides a secure cart.
If you are seeing any sort of ads that are requesting credit card information, please keep in mind that we do NOT ask for any payment information within our blog content.
If you do see these types of banners, you will want to check your computer for Spamware. My ad network and my website do not run spam or promotional click-bait advertisements seeking payment information.
Q: Why does the PDF print black boxes?
Some of our PDF files use a lot of graphic elements that don’t always play nicely with other computers. After a couple of readers emailed me that a PDF was printing out black boxes in place of the graphics, I was off to search Google and found 4 steps to help troubleshoot the issue.
Your PDF might end up looking like this. If so, here’s how to fix the problem!
Most often, these issues will arise for those using an Apple device and using Apple’s native PDF Preview software. However, others may also run into this issue. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything I can do to prevent this from happening on my end. You can try any (or all) of these steps to correct the black box printing issue with PDFs:
- Download and use Adobe Acrobat Reader. (If you already do, see step 2)
- In Adobe Reader go to the menu bar and choose Edit > Preferences > Accessibility and uncheck the box to “Replace Document Colors”.
- Print the pages directly from my post with the Print button as that’s within Adobe reader.
- Use your current PDF viewer and choose to “Print as Image”. That may slightly lower the print quality and you’ll only be able to print one page at a time.
Q: I previously purchased a product but can’t access the files! How do I get help?
One of the growing pains of this blog was troubleshooting a digital cart that wasn’t correctly sending the purchase receipt with download links. This caused the reaction that we had to migrate to a different online shopping cart.
I’m hoping to move over previous orders to restore easy access to your files, but in the meantime, please email me and I’m happy to help you with access to your purchase!

Q: What’s the best way to view this website?
I know we do just about EVERYTHING these days on our phones. But because of the nature of our content with the downloads and all the pictures and explanations included in every post, you’ll have a much easier time navigating and getting the most out of this website when viewed on a desktop!
Of course, you can always still visit on a phone, table, or other device, just keep in mind that for the best experience try visiting PrimarySinging.com on a computer!
Q: Where can I find….?
There are several ways to find things on this website! I’ll share the best ways to navigate all of our posts here:
#1 – Search: First and probably easiest is to type in a song title or general idea of the singing time game if you have an idea of what you are looking for or simply what to see what we have created for a specific song.
You can search right up at the very top of the blog in the menu – just click the magnifying class icon 🔍 and start typing your search words.
The other option is to click the Grow.me button in the bottom left corner and it will pull up a menu that includes a really smart search function or access to bookmarks to save your favorite posts to easily find later.
#2 – Visit our Visual Song Index: When you get to more than 50 or so posts, all that early content can hidden behind pages of archives and forgotten. I created a really cool multi-function index that lets you toggle between song titles, Primary CFM years, learning styles, and more! You can browse our Visual Post Index here!
#3 Use the Menus: There are a lot of great navigational resources right in our menu! The Start Here page can take you to a text-based list of our most popular posts and important new music leader resources.
In the Song Lists tab you can head right to the post for specific Come Follow Me song lists by year that will help you get right to the current year’s songs! You can even find an extensive list of 200+ singing time ideas on the Primary Ideas tab that can get your creativity flowing!
Q: Why are there so many ads?
The ads mean my content is of NO cost to you. I spend a TON of hours creating free printables (30+ hours a week!) and running this website with hundreds of completely free lesson plans. I totally get that ads can be annoying, but they allow the content to be free.
All the other current Primary blogs charge for their content, either as a subscription monthly purchase or an Etsy listing for every printable. While there are a couple of items I do offer for sale, they are only the select files that I feel are above and beyond a 1-time singing time plan and that they offer a ton of reusability and value.
I do not want to charge for my lesson plans, and I don’t intend to. I hope you can understand why ads feel like the right choice between for-purchase and ad-supported content.
