I love this song, it reminds me of my days in Primary! This upbeat song was one of our choice songs for the 2018 Primary Program as I wanted something with a great upbeat tune to add to the slow and pretty songs already a part of this year’s program.
Today, I’m sharing with you some of the activities I have planned and used for teaching this song in my Primary to help you in planning your own singing time lessons!
We’ll Bring the World His Truth
Singing Time Ideas
1. We’ll Bring the World His Truth – Directional Marching
Engage the kids with a marching activity that will get them up, moving, and enjoying the beat of this song. Marching goes right along with message of being a missionary off to share the gospel message.
2. We’ll Bring the World His Truth – Video Montage
Create a personalized video montage to bring We’ll Bring the World His Truth song to life! Seek the help of Primary parents to add personal pictures of your Primary families. You can showcase to the kids with them as the stars what the meaning of this powerful song is – and how it relates to them!
3. We’ll Bring the World His Truth – Fill in the Blank
Use this fill-in-the-blank activity to help the kids review We’ll Bring the World His Truth or learn the 2nd verse. It’s an easy, low-prep activity that gets a lot of the Primary kids involved!
4. We’ll Bring the World His Truth – Beat vs Rhythm
Clap or patsch to the beat and then the rhythm as you sing along to this upbeat Primary song in this fun beat vs rhythm activity!
5. We’ll Bring the World His Truth – Cup Pattern
This catchy cup pattern with a fun and inexpensive prop will thrill your Senior Primary! Let them tap, pat, and turn along with the beat.
6. We’ll Bring the World His Truth – Cup Stacking
I easily taught the words and meaning of the 2nd verse while building a cup tower in this engaging activity that had everyone’s attention.
7. We’ll Bring the World His Truth – Simple Cup Actions
This cup actions activity is similar to hand actions, but with a fun cup to re-purpose materials and bring a fun element to learning the song. We used this activity alongside the Cup Stacking game, but it can also be used on separate weeks to reinforce learning the song.
8. We’ll Bring the World His Truth – Silent Singer
This activity is perfect for reviewing a song after you’ve worked on it for several weeks. I’m using Silent Singer to get the kids motivated and sing along with We’ll Bring the World His Truth.
I hope these fun lesson plans and ideas help you with planning to teach this song or to get creative and modify the ideas to work with any of the other primary songs! This is one of my favorite Primary songs and I’ve been having so much fun teaching it this year.
