Book of Mormon Primary Program Outline
Before we jump right in with two different approaches to the outline, I wanted to share these two wonderful resources to help you in your planning!

And with that, let me introduce my two different Program themes this year! Whichever you choose, you can’t go wrong!
1. Book of Mormon Song Outline
This first option is based around the songs you’ve been teaching all year. Simply pick out your song list and then use a matching scripture, prompt to ask the children, and even a 1-minute talk topic.
You’ll pass out the one-page song outline guide to the teacher of each class and have them collect responses from the children in their classroom so the program comes together quickly and easily while taking up as little time as necessary.
This is a great option for letting the songs be the focus of the program and using the gospel principles learned through music and study this year really shine!

2. Book of Mormon Heroes Outline
The second approach is to lean on the amazing heroes throughout the Book of Mormon to share stories and inspiration this year. You can select a hero per child in a small Primary or work on a hero by class. Let the child or class decide which hero and story really impacted them this year. They’ll share a little about one of the Book of Mormon stories from their hero.
This outline includes 26 different heroes and each one is matched with a song selections from this years list. There’s a suggested a suggested outline to help demonstrate how to pull it all together, but you’ll custom create your own program that perfectly fits your ward and the things you’ve learned this year so the children’s testimonies will shine!
Once again, the parts can be pass out to teachers or sent home with parents. Just encourage them to take a picture and text it to the Primary secretary when complete!
