Ask: What did this child do as he began to pray? Sing through the song to find the answer. He kneeled! Add the “kneel” speech bubble under the child illustration.

Ask: Let’s see what action the child takes, listen and see if you can hear what word would fill in this blank… “I _ to Heavenly Father.” Sing through the song as you listen for the answer. Extension Activities:

• Invite children to come up to hold each of your speech bubbles instead of adding the speech bubble cards to the board near your illustration of a child.
• You can add or instead focus on the 2nd verse with similar questions – how do we start our prayers (Dear Heavenly Father), what should we do first (Thank Him), What do you do when you have something you need (Ask Him), how should we close our prayers (Amen). Add all the speech bubbles around the girl illustration starting at the top right corner and going around clockwise around her.
