How to Use this List: This list is organized by month and then lists the 2 suggested songs from the “Instructions for Singing Time and the Children’s Sacrament Meeting Presentation” which is found in Appendix C. Following those two song suggestions, you’ll find songs listed by week that can be found within each of the Come, Follow Me lessons and instructions. There are a variety of different Hymns and songs that are incorporated into the weekly lessons. It may be helpful to print out this list and use it as a reference throughout the year. You can store this complete list of songs from the Old Tesatment Come Follow Me in your Singing Time Binder!

Primary Songs for Opening/Closing: If you like to sing through different songs as the children enter the Primary room or after church is over while you are waiting for parent pickup, these extra Come, Follow Me songs can be a good list to look through and consider singing these extra songs as opening or closing songs. This can give the children additional exposure to Hymns and other children’s songs without taking away from your Singing Time lessons.

Alternate Song Ideas: The list of suggested songs to teach this year includes quite a few repeats. If you have recently learned some of these songs and are looking for alternatives, check these additional song recommendations as a good first place to start. This will help you to find additional song ideas and also to notice themes around the gospel doctrines taught this year as you consider other songs that may not be on the recommended list.
