The Miracle Song Quiz
Are you ready to see how well your primary children really know this song? This song quiz idea works great for ANY song you are working on, but today I’ve shared 8 quiz questions with answers from all 3 verses of this beautiful New Testament primary song (full song list for 2027!).
Before pulling out any quiz questions, start with a brief review of the song. This is a great way to refresh the lyrics before you begin. Keep a copy of the lyrics (flip chart) close by, but don’t keep it out for too long!
Alright, I have a little quiz for you! Are you ready? Question #1: Finish the sentence – “With His hands He healed…” Make it as dramatic as you can. Think “gameshow” for this one!
Have the kids raise their hand to share the answer. You got it! The song says, “With His hands He healed the leper”
Let’s try another one. How many people do the lyrics say Jesus fed? That’s right – “He fed ‘a thousand people’…”
Continue asking one question at a time. If the kids are stumped, go back and sing a line or two and see if they can catch the answer! If you can answer all 8 questions correctly during singing time, the kids are probably ready to move on to a new song. Way to go!

5 Extension Activities:
- Divide into two teams and add some competition! Choose one representative from each team to come up to the front. Ask one quiz question, and see who raises their hand first to answer. Keep score or just do it for fun!
- On the back of each quiz question, write the verse that the question comes from. Sing one verse each time you answer a question.
- Try teachers VS. kids! Can you tell I have a competitive side? 😉
- Tape the quiz questions around the room. Each time you sing through the song, choose a volunteer to pick a card from the wall and see if they can answer the question correctly. Ask a friend for help if needed!
- Divide the question cards evenly between each class. Work together with your class to figure out the answer!
