This song has several repeating phrases, which can take up a lot of space on the page. To simplify the flip chart, I colored and underlined the repeating phrases, rather than writing them out twice.
You won’t even need to explain this to the kids, they’ll pick up on it right away. Just sing and point to the line while singing it the first time or two through, and they’ll notice right away the repeating nature of the lyrics!
In most cases, you might only use the 1st verse of this song, but I’ve included both verses in case you decide to extend the song!
