I Know that My Redeemer Lives is one of the New Testament Primary Songs suggested for September. I like to include at least one hymn each year, and I think this is a great song to teach, along with the Come, Follow Me hymn.
I’ve broken down all of the different Suggested Come Follow Me Songs by Year to make it even easier to sing through a wide variety of songs across all 4 years! It will give you variety without repeats across the 4 years and then you can repeat to refresh the songs the kids learned when they were really little!
I Know That My Redeemer Lives Flip Chart
I went with kind of a unique style for this flip chart. Instead of my standard format, since this song repeats the line “He lives” so many times, I thought it would be fun to show the lyrics in a unique format to fit this song’s unique structure.
You’ll notice, I’ve typed He Lives ones as a header and then added a dash for each spot to repeat singing “he lives” with the line to follow. I think this will create a strong connection to that repeating phrase and the kids will be drawn into the different style!

This flip chart is just a little different then some of my other flip charts. It still has the same general formatting, font, and colors. But because of the repeating line, I’ve taken a slightly different approach. At the beginning of each page is an underlined and separated text that will be repeated before each line!
There’s also a repeat for the final page as the lyrics are sung through twice.
