I’m all for finding ways to do things once, and have it all ready for you for the rest of the year. Just like planning my singing time lessons for a whole year up front, I try to streamline my other efforts, too.
This year, my Primary Presidency has decided to focus on the Articles of Faith, rather than a monthly scripture, since the topics vary so widely from week to week.
I’ve always noticed that the kids struggle to turn around and read the posters up on the bulletin board. This easy solution solves that problem AND gets you ready for the whole year by week 1!

Monthly Article of Faith
for the Podium
Your Primary can recite the Articles of Faith with one each month (and the first two in January) as you work your way through the year. At the end of each month, simply flip over the sheet, or remove the top paper to get to your next month’s focus Article of Faith!
The whole year’s worth of monthly Articles of Faith will be slipped into a half-sheet sized sheet protector. We did this all last year, and it worked amazingly well! Then, just tape down the sheet protector with clear tape.
This allows the kids to much more easily read the Articles of Faith right from the podium where they are standing, rather than having to face backwards.
It also makes it so you’re always ready to go — no more scrambling to prepare things at the end of the month!
This is also a great resource for families that may be studying the Articles of Faith and want to post the print out on their home bulletin boards or in their study binders! You can find beautiful full-page Articles of Faith printout with a corresponding picture over here.
These are perfect for putting up on the bulletin board! You can staple all 13 with one on top of the other, and just remove the top sheet as you work your way through the year.
Article of Faith
of the Month Printable
To use this printable, you’ll simply print the 6-page Articles of Faith document selecting to print from front to back (flipping on the long edge).
You can also print on single sheets of paper, if needed, though it may be a little thick to keep all of your Articles of Faith up at the podium at once with 12 half-sheets.
Then, cut the sheet in half, hamburger style, right between the two months. That will give you 6 half sheets of paper with January on one side, then February on the back side, and continuing through to the end of the year.
