Valentine’s Day is the perfect holiday to incorporate into your Primary Singing Time planning! So many of these Valentine’s Day Primary songs talk about love and loving others and feelings of the heart.
To make it easier to incorporate the holiday into your planning, I thought I would scour the Hymnal and the Children’s songbook to find all the Valentine’s Day Primary songs I could find!
Below is an extensive list with more than 60 songs from the Hymn book and Children’s songbook that talk about Love or conditions of the heart that would be wonderful to sing on Valentine’s Day!
You can plan a Valentine’s Day Singing Time lesson for the week before and/or the week after the holiday. Either works, so plan what works out best with your schedule, pick the Sunday closest to the holiday, or do both weeks if you’d like!
In 2022, February 13th may be your best option. But you can totally extend a Valentine’s Day singing time into February 20th! In 2023, February 12th or 19th both work great.
