Are you SO excited to be teaching from the Book of Mormon this year? I can’t wait! It’s my favorite book of scriptures to teach from as it feels so relevant for our day!
To help you more easily teach from the scriptures this year, I have a wonderful collection of Book of Mormon posters for Primary! It includes 24 different stories and characters from the scriptures with two different themed pictures to fit each month of the year!
Book of Mormon Primary Posters
Are you wondering how to use these Book of Mormon Primary posters this year? No worries! I have some ideas to help get you started, but they can be used in so many ways!
Bulletin Board – Display these scripture hero stories all over your bulletin board! You can make a dedicated spot to share the two posters of the month or pick and choose your favorites and fill up your board at the beginning of the year.
Display them at Home – Grab a frame and post these inspirational posters in your home where they can be easily seen every day to help remind your family to spend time in the Book of Mormon this year and to open up conversations about all of the scripture heroes stories and doctrinal topics they can teach!
Use them in Home/Class Lessons – These posters would be a wonderful addition to your home or Primary classroom lessons! Adding in art can add in visual interest and help the children better remember the stories you share.
Color the Stories – Use the black and white coloring page versions of the posters to have your family color in the stories you’re talking about. They’re great for teens and adults to color, too, as they include lots of details!
Backwards Advent Calendar – Fill up a notebook adding a new picture in a clear sheet protector each week! Then, you can remember and review back to the stories you’ve learned throughout the year. This would be a great quiet book to take to Sacrament meeting, too.
Large Poster Prints – This set includes 16×20 print sizes so you can print out your favorite posters in an extra large size! Then, display them proudly in your home or Primary room.
Match with a Song – Pick a song to match each of the different themes and posters throughout the year. Write the song title on the back of the poster. Fill up the board with an assortment of pictures and let the children pick a picture. Then, flip over the poster to reveal which song to sing! You can even do this at home to help you pick an opening song before scripture study!
