Choose the Right Way Scripture Connection
I will divide my Primary into small groups and give each group one study section. You can repeat the 3 stories, if you have a large Primary. I have about 16 in Junior and 20 in Senior, so I’ll just divide roughly evenly.
Each small group will be given one story including the scripture reference and the scriptures typed out so they’re easy to read through.
They will read the discuss the scriptures and answer the couple of simple questions.
After all the groups have had a couple of minutes to read, discuss, and answer the questions, we’ll come back together as a large group. I’ll have each group come up one at a time to share a quick summary of their scripture story and what they learned. They can also answer the questions, if they’d like.
Then, that group will take a turn to lead “Choose the Right Way”. I’ll ask the Primary how that story relates to the song.
We’ll continue through all three scripture stories and 3 times singing through the song. Then, I’ll quickly summarize that we had 3 examples today – the Rich Man who wasn’t ready to Choose the Right Way, the Ten Virgins where only half of them were prepared, and the disciples who immediately dropped everything and followed the Savior.
I’ll remind them that the song teaches us that for us to be happy in life, we need to follow the teachings of Jesus and Choose to Follow his example. We’ll sing the song together one last time.
Then, we’ll transition right over to the next activity or if this is my last activity I’ll close with a short testimony about following the Savior.

Choose the Right Way Scripture Connection Printable Singing Time Lesson Plan
In this 4-page printable, you’ll find full page scripture challenges that are a little longer and geared more towards Senior Primary. The 3rd page is a shorter summary section of each story and better suited for Junior Primary. You could use either version, though, that you feel will best fit your Primary group!
