I’ve included two different printable coloring pages in this post! Have the kids work on their coloring page while you sing this sweet primary song or color the picture together!

Faith Song Coloring Page
I love having a few simple activities ready to go – this activity definitely fits in that category! There is very little prep involved and it’s a very reverent activity!
I love the symbolism in this primary song. When we think of our faith like a seed, we take ownership of our growing testimony and work to take care of our testimony, just as we would take care of a budding flower.
This activity allows the kids to ponder how they can “water” their seeds of testimony and become more like Jesus Christ.
I’ve included two different coloring pages in this post. One page is a full-size coloring page with a seed on one side and a blooming flower on the other. This coloring page helps the children see how a seed becomes a flower and how are testimonies can grow to be beautiful, too.
The second coloring page is a half-sheet with a cute flower pot being watered. At the bottom of the sheet, it says, “I can water my seeds of testimony by…”
There is space for the children to write something they can do to grow their testimonies, such as reading the scriptures, being kind to family members, and going to church.
At the beginning of primary, sing through the first verse and chorus of “Faith” together. You can use our Faith song flipchart here!
Pass out a coloring page and ask the children how our faith can be like a seed. Have them draw and ponder as you sing through the song 2-3 times.
Invite the children to come up and share their drawings with the class. Have them share how their testimony is like a seed.
If you have extra time, pass out the half-sheet coloring pages and have the children think of something they can do to “water” their seeds of testimony. Have them color the page or take it home with them.
My Growing Faith Story Booklet:
Create “My Growing Faith” story book from the Church’s website. Cut out all the story pages before primary. Have the children color each page while you sing. In the last few minutes of primary, staple the books for the children!
For this extension idea, you could also create a story book together. Have each class work on one page of the story book during singing time. Put the entire story together at the end of primary and read it to the class.
Faith Is Like a Seed Coloring Page:
Add this cute coloring page from the Church’s website to the mix. Have all 3 coloring page options out on the table and let the kids choose a coloring page on their way into the primary room. Have them work on their coloring pages while you sing “Faith.”
You could also have the children work on their coloring pages while listening to the song. You could use this Faith Sing-along on YouTube here. Instead of leading the song, you could be walking around to help the kids think of ideas and encourage them to sing.
Work On the Coloring Pages As a Class:
Complete the coloring page as a class! For this activity, you’ll want to use the full-size coloring page. As you sing, choose one child to come up at a time and color one small section (one petal, one seed, etc.)
You could also create your own paint-by-numbers by choosing one number for each color. Write the number you want for each small section of the picture. This way, it’s a little more of a challenge! You can also get in more singing practice this way.

Faith Song Coloring Page Printable Pages
Grab these cute printable coloring pages as you teach this song! I’ve included two different images. Both pictures help us remember to grow our testimonies.
There is an additional larger full-page printables included as part of the INSTANT Primary Singing membership when this is the featured song!
If using the full-size coloring page, print enough for all your kids to have their own sheet. If using the half-size, just print out about 10-15 copies and cut the pages in half.
To access the free in-post printables for this post, you’ll just need to create a free account or login with the Grow.me tool. Then, confirm by email and refresh the page and ALL my free printables will automatically unlock in every post!
For more information on why I use a content lock or how to create your account, you can see the FAQ page here.
