How to Play:
Write a single letter for all the long / main words and then write out the full word for all the small filler words. You’ll need 28 total cups.

Sing through Redeemer of Israel (flip chart here) once before bringing out the cups. If you want to set them up ahead of time, you can do so and then just put a tri-fold board in front of them to hide the cup tower until you’re ready to reveal it!
Pass out a cup to each child, but tell them they’ll need to be very gentle with them and don’t crush the cups or the tower won’t stand.
Ask, who knows the name of this song? Hint: It’s also the first 3 words!

We’re going to work together to build a strong castle wall. Who thinks they might have one of the 3 cups we need first? (R, of, I). Let them place them on the table in a nice straight row.

Let’s sing through the song and be watching for where your word might go! As a hint, a few words repeat!
Sing, stack, repeat! You’ll want 8 cups on the 1st 3 rows.

Extension Activities:
- Instead of passing out the cups, have them all spread out on the floor. Let the kids take turns building the tower in order while everyone else sings. You may need to sing through the song twice!
- Instead of a castle wall, you could build a tall tower with 7 on the bottom row.
