One of my favorite Christmas traditions is heading to a Christmas farm as a family to pick out a perfect Christmas tree for our home. A Christmas tree just completely transforms our home to feel like Christmas is near!
This fun Christmas singing time activity was design with that inspiration in mind! Let the kids pick from different Christmas trees and review your song of choice or a mix of Christmas songs! To add a little more fun, I added some Christmas Trivia questions, too!
Pick a Christmas Tree Game
How to Play:
Print out the song and trivia Christmas Tree cards and fold them in half. Place either the song or the trivia side face up.
Answer the trivia question to reveal the song or sing the song to reveal a trivia question. You’ll get to sing through a fun mix of Christmas songs and learn a little bit about Christmas trees with a fun and different singing time activity!
Alternate sides to pick a song/trivia question and score points for each team, if you’d like!

Trees Ways to Sing: Use different ways to sing for variety to review your Christmas song of choice!
Hidden Trees: Hide trees around the room and go on a hunt for the perfect Christmas tree!
Tree Puzzles: Cut up the trees into simple puzzles and have the kids arrange the pieces, then sing the matching song.
Christmas Tree Match: Print two of each try and play a classic game of match.
Caroling to Tree Rooms: Put a tree on the door of each classroom for your Primary to visit. Then go caroling to all the rooms that have a tree on the door!
Christmas Tree Tic-Tac-Toe: Place the trees (with song titles) in a 9×9 grid. Let the kids remove a Christmas tree to claim a spot with their X or O, then sing that song they picked.
Four Corners: Put a tree and a coordinating line of the song in each corner. Invite the kids to rotate to visit each of the trees and sing their part of the song.
Experience the Song: Play one Christmas song of choice with a variety of different styles, such as a guest performer, acapella, sing-along video, whisper sing, etc.
